About Me

I’ve got music boiling in my blood. I’m a self-taught guitar player with a strong love for rock-n-roll and the feverish sounds evolved from it over the years. My inspiration draws from Chuck Berry to Led Zeppelin, Nirvana and The Postal Service.

In the mid-1990’s I took this solid musical foundation to the turntables and never looked back. Mixing any type of music at all types of venues earned me the nick-name DJ Spontaneous.

By the early 2000's I entered the night club scene with full force. I have learned to adapt to any type of crowd and stay on top of all the trends by spinning at a wide variety of establishments. I’ve spun at upscale venues like Epic, Envy, The Lounge, Visage, The Independent, and 414 Sound Bar. My friend and fellow DJ Jah Rocker once called me The Twin Cities Guerrilla Mix Master.

I have also promoted themed shows and have produced top notch remixes. Since 2006 I’ve played host to several fellow turntablists such as DJ Spryte, DJ Supra & DJ Mei-Lwun. My events always draw a crowd and leave them saying “Wow!”

I’m committed to setting a new standard for what is considered party music. Having seen many of the world’s most innovative DJs work the dance floors inspires me to bring that experience home to the Twin Cities.

My eclectic style caters to any occasion. Anybody can play a list of songs, but I pride myself on reading the party-goers and being keenly aware of what to play at just the right time. House, Disco, 80’s, Hip Hop and Reggae are just some of the genres to be heard in my all-encompassing sets.
